1. General
Any order placed must consider the following manufacturing limitations, unless otherwise mutually agreed upon under specific circumstances by the involved parties.
2. 3D Print
All surfaces shall exhibit a uniform visual appearance. Parts will undergo the removal of support structures and will be meticulously cleaned of any surplus support or build material.
The acceptable level of accuracy for parts is contingent upon the specific technology employed, as explicitly outlined:
FDM : Fused deposition modeling standards
Dimensional Accuracy
The expected dimensional accuracy is within ±0.5%, with a minimum lower limit of ±0.6 mm (or ±0.023 inches).
Surface Finish
A uniform surface finish is required, free from any irregularities, bumps, or delamination. Tolerances for marks resulting from retraction and layer changing are permissible.
Support Material
All support material must be meticulously removed, ensuring the supported surface attains a consistent finish.
Infill Density
Unless otherwise agreed upon with the customer, all parts are to be printed with a 25% infill.
Shell or Wall Thickness
Each part is to be printed with either three outline/perimeter shells, or with a wall thickness of 1.2 mm.
SLA : Stereolithography standards
Dimensional Accuracy
The specified dimensional accuracy is within ±0.5%, with a minimum lower limit of ±0.16 mm (or ±0.006 inches).
Curing Requirements
All parts must be fully cured according to the material manufacturer's specifications prior to shipping.
Surface Condition
Parts must be free from any stickiness or excess resin on the surface. For hollow sections, any surplus resin must be thoroughly drained.
Support Material
All support material must be meticulously removed. Additionally, any support nibs should be sanded smooth to ensure a consistent finish.
3. 3D Scan
The 3D scanning process adheres to established industry standards to ensure accurate representation of objects or surfaces. All scanned data is meticulously processed to achieve a high level of precision and fidelity.
±0.04mm (0.0016 inches) for single scans
